International Potato Procurement Manager

We are actively seeking a seasoned potato trader with a proven history of profitability to take on a crucial position within our business agricultural and food supply chain. We encourage charismatic and dynamic individuals with a keen attention to detail and a strong profit-driven mindset to apply.
Responsibilities
- The role will involve acting as a bridge between potato growers and consumers, guaranteeing a seamless potato flow from the farm to the marketplace while overseeing numerous facets of the supply chain.
- Handling tasks such as sourcing, pricing, quality assurance, and distribution to play a significant part in enhancing the stability and efficiency of the potato industry.
- Engage in daily trading, enter into extended-term agreements, and secure substantial processing contracts.
- Maintain a supplier data base, including international crisping growers.

- Office based in Lincolnshire albeit there is some flexibility in hybrid or remote working pending the successful candidate and experience
- Some international travel will be required.
Candidate requirements
- Established in the UK or Europe with a minimum of five years of trading experience.
- Showcase a successful financial track record.
- Experience in international trade is desirable.
- A strong grasp of international customs documentation would be advantageous.
